Elegant entertaining in 10 to 15 minutes? Absolutely!

  • 1 bag of chocolate chips
  • 4 small ramekins or bowls
  • plastic wrap or aluminum foil
  • zip-top sandwich bag
  • 2 cups mixed fruit for filling (raspberries, strawberries, etc.)

Melt the chocolate chips, then pour the melted chocolate into the bag. With scissors, snip one small piece of the corner off. Using either plastic wrap or aluminum foil, invert the ramekin or bowl and place the wrap or foil over each bowl bottom. Working quickly, drizzle the melted chocolate over the inverted bowl in zigzag designs, or circles. Carefully lift each bowl and place in the refrigerator for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the chocolate is set. (Firm). Carefully remove the plastic (or foil) and if desired, repeat another layer of chocolate on the inside of the bowl. Return to the refrigerator to set. Serve mixed fruit (raspberries, strawberries, bananas, etc) inside of your chocolate fruit bowl!
