CINNAMON ROASTED PECAN NUT BUTTER
- 2 cups pecans
- On a parchment lined cookie sheet, roast pecans at 350 for 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from oven and add to pecans
- 1 Tablespoon cinnamon
- pinch of sea salt
Stir pecans to coat with cinnamon and sea salt. Add pecans to food processor and blend (process) for about 5 to 8 minutes; it does not take long at all. Scrape the sides down as you go, and continue to process until it becomes the consistency that you desire.
**You can add honey or a pinch of sugar to sweeten it. Just add about 1 Tablespoon of honey, but do not process for quite as long, as you do not want it to be too thin. If this happens, no worries - just serve with fish or chicken, or in an oriental dish.
Pour into a jar and enjoy!.
