• 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups heavy cream **or use a mixture of either one half milk and one half heavy cream; or even half and half could be substituted
  • 2 cups cheese of your choice - goat cheese is even delicious in this!

Filling options:

  • crumbled bacon
  • fresh cooked spinach
  • sauteed mushrooms
  • sauteed red onion
  • sauteed garlic
  • sauteed red bell pepper
  • (You can use anything that you like!)

**If using store bought, prick pie crust with fork and pre-bake for about 7 minutes.  Set aside to cool.
**You could also cut dough into pieces and shape into muffin pan and make individual quiches.

Place eggs, cream (or milk), salt and pepper in blender.  Blend until combined, then layer spinach on bottom of deep dish 9 inch pie crust, then crumbled bacon if using, then 2 cups cheese then pour egg mixture on top.  Bake 375 45-55 minutes or until set.

**You can sautee onion and garlic first, then add it to quiche layers; can sautee mushrooms, red bell peppers; you can use frozen spinach (that has been thawed) can use ground sausage - can put anything that you love inside of this quiche!  If using frozen spinach, make certain you have squeezed all of the water out.  Also feel free to add garlic powder and any other seasonings you enjoy to the blender, along with the salt and pepper.

**Mini Crustless Quiche:  Spray mini muffin pans (silicone pans work best for this).  Sprinkle cheese on bottom, pour egg mixture on top; bake for about 25 minutes.
