One year at Easter, I had a “Girls Night Out” to decorate Easter Eggs. I am the least artistic person – but I had an absolute blast! My friend Lindsey’s friend, Kim, and her mother, Kaye, hosted this awesome event. Kaye Gardner shared the following recipe with me. I made some yesterday … what a delicious treat! You are going to love these. You could put them in martini glasses for a party, or have them on hand this summer (and at the beach!), or as Kaye noted, they travel well with an ice pack in a cooler! Thank you, Kaye, for introducing me to this great snack, and for sharing your recipe with me!

Frozen Yummy Grapes

  • 1 box red seedless grapes like you get at Sam's or Costco; or 2 big bunches from the store.
  • 1 large box raspberry Jell-O or 2 small sugar free Jell-O.

Pluck them from the stem and wash grapes in a colander.

Let drain a bit in the colander, but still allow them to be wet.

Put 1/2 of them in a 1 gallon Ziploc with 1/2 of the Jell-O. Use the other half the same way.

Shake and put in freezer. Spread grapes out in the bag. Take straight out of the freezer and serve. They travel well in a cooler with ice pack. They keep a good hour in the cooler before serving them.
