AIMEE'S KEY LIME PIE IN A JAR

Makes 4 jars

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3/4 cup to 1 cup key lime juice
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3 Tablespoons powdered sugar
  • Lime zest

Distribute graham cracker crumbs in the bottom of a mason jar, then set aside. Beat together sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice and egg yolks. Pour that mixture on top of graham cracker crumbs. Bake jars (mason or ball jars are oven safe) at 350 for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. When ready to serve make whipped cream; beat heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Add whipped cream on top of pie, then zest lime on top of that!
