AIMEE'S BACK TO SCHOOL MAGIC FRUIT WANDS

I did this for Michala when she was little, and it was the perfect substitution for kebob sticks or wooden sticks that could hurt a small child. The "magic wand" is perfect for your little princess or prince! (Boys could even call them, "fruit swords!")

Makes 10 wands

  • 2 cups of strawberries, stems removed
  • 2 cups raspberries
  • 2 cups seedless grapes
  • 2 cups cubed watermelon chunks
  • 2 cups cubed cheese
  • 10 straws (I like the flexi-straws, because the "bend" at the top helps hold the fruit in place)

Just pierce the fruit onto your straw, making various arrangements with the cheese and fruit. Wrap in plastic wrap and keep cold until time to pack lunches! Use any of your favorite fruits; mango, peaches, pineapple … you name it, it works!
